Citel's DS250E is a TYPE 1 AC Power Surge Protection that is designed for applications like - lightning strikes, capacitor bank switching, and large inductive loads- that are highly exposed. The DS250E comes in the category of one-pole SPD.

It can be used in common mode and differential mode. The features are - Iimp of 25 kA (10/350µs), Imax of 140 kA (8/20µs). It enables Internal disconnections, status indicators and remote signalling and available in models IEC 61643-11, EN 61643-11 and UL1449 ed.2
